Yoga has been a part of my life since 2003 when I took my first class through my town adult education program. Throughout the years, I have always returned to the practice of breath, space and transformation. In 2014, I found a consistent daily practice in Ashtanga Yoga at a time of great personal change. The practice allowed me to develop focus, awareness, an inward gaze and renewed vitality and strength in my body and mind. I began to live with more clarity, peace and the ability to experience more joy. As my practice evolves, I continue to learn and dig deeper into the practices I have known for many years while also exploring practices new to me that I have found myself drawn to that compliment my own personal sadhana, and therefore, my teachings. I am blessed to have spent significant time with some of the best and most knowledgable teachers on this path and I am so honored to share these teachings since 2016. Deep respect and gratitude to my teachers for their teachings on not only asana, but the importance in study of Yoga philosophy and sacred texts, Ayurveda, chanting and pranayama and leading not only through words but by example. The continuation of knowledge that has been passed down to me has been applied into my own practice, allowing me to share from direct experience-the only place I can speak from with surety and depth. I am here to share what I have learned in a fun, supportive space and to offer guidance to folks as they experience their own Yoga ✨
